Avinto Mentorship Program for Women 2026

Only about 25% of STEM students in Nepal and South Asia are women, and even fewer continue into long-term technical careers. This program is designed to help women in Kathmandu bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

What the Program Includes

Participants learn through professional skills development, technical training, direct mentorship, and real project experience with Avinto professionals.

Professional Development

English communication, workplace skills, interview preparation, and agile principles.

Technical Training

Git and GitHub, full-stack development with TypeScript and Python, deployment, testing, and documentation.

Project-Based Learning

Real team projects that help participants build practical experience and a stronger portfolio.

Who Can Apply?

We especially welcome women from underprivileged backgrounds who may not always have had the same access to opportunities, but are motivated to learn and grow in tech.

Women pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or engineering
Based in Lalitpur for in-person attendance
Basic HTML knowledge and access to a laptop
Able to commit 4-6 hours per week

After Completion

Some participants may be offered internships or project-based roles at Avinto to further develop their skills and gain professional experience.

Structured In-Person Sessions

The program runs from Avinto Office in Sanepa, Lalitpur, with a travel allowance included for participants.
